The enduring appeal of simple elegance….

Mother of the Bride – create your perfect look by going Bespoke!

Since the beautiful spectacle that was the Royal Wedding last month,  I have noticed an increase in the number of enquiries I’m receiving from brides who are looking  to replicate the stunning simplicity of Meghan’s wedding dress. It’s simple, elegant lines and luxurious fabric exuded unmistakable class and elegance , qualities which I have always held dear to my own heart when designing my wedding dresses, as a peek on my web gallery will confirm!

Royal Weddings have always been trend-setters, from Diana’s fairy-tale gown of endless silk taffeta, to Kate’s vintage-styled lace gown, but it’s my belief that simple,  elegant lines and beautiful fabric will never date or go out of fashion – hence the enduring appeal of style icons such as Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly.

The above design from my collection draws on these timeless elements- a classic sheath dress in ivory silk crepe with hand- ruched silk chiffon bodice, and detachable chiffon train
